Top Traffic Exchanges…My best performing Traffic exchanges listed…

I mean, Most of people never get good results outta them…They seem to surf traffic exchanges for hours with poor results…and It sucks!

Anyway, here`s my Traffic Exchange List that I`ve been using to get good results. (These are free traffic exchanges, by the way)

NOTE: All of the traffic exchange programs above are manual exchanges.

I recommend you stay out of autosurf traffic exchanges because they simply don`t work. If you want to get results, always use manual exchanges…

I also recommend you check out this traffic exchange forum for good tips on using TE`s. Really you can learn a LOT from those guys!

Want to Build your email list FAST? Try Ad swaps and watch the magic!

Okay, In this post I`ll show you one of the most powerful list-building technique so get excited!

Today`s post will cover Ad Swapping with other list owners…

Basically,  Ad Swap means that you promote other marketer`s  ad to your list and they promote your ad to their list.

(And If you`ve been reading this blog and applying the earlier list building techniques, you should have a list already…Otherwise I recommend you click this link to see the earlier techniques that get you started with list building…)

You simply contact other marketers asking if they want to do ad swap with you and discuss about the details like how big is their list compared to yours and when they want to arrange the swap. It shouldn`t be a problem if you contact marketer who has 2000 subscribers and you have only 500 because they can match your list size and send to only 500 subscribers…That can be done with most of autoresponders…

One good techique to find potential ad swap partners is to join JV giveaways and sign up for gifts.

That`s right, you sign up to their list because Once you are on their list, you can contact them and say:
“Hey, I just read through your ____ (e-book, report or ecourse) and It was really cool!
I was wondering if you would you be interested in Ad-swap?

And when you begin to get answers like: “Sure, Let`s do ad swap!” your list building is on FIRE!

Once you get ad swap partner, they will ask for your ad to send and date when to send.

That`s why you should create ad for the swap BEFORE you contact anyone because these things can happen pretty fast sometimes.

It`s really simple to write ad for the swap because I`ve found out that most of the time short ads get best response.

Here`s one example of ad I`ve been using so you`ll get the point:

And that`s it. Few lines of text and link to my squeeze page…

When my ad swap partner asks me to send them my ad, I`ll email this ad (depending what I want to promote) and tell them they can alter the text to fit their writing style.

And after they send me their ad, we both queue the ads to our autoresponder and wait for the ad swap date and watch our lists grow.

If you don`t know how to queue your ad to go out on a specific date, I`ll show you how to do it…

If you use aweber and want the ad  to go out on a chosen date, this is what you`ll do:

Click Messages ==> Broadcast ===> Create broadcast message:

After that copy/paste the ad text and as you scroll down you`ll see this:

As you can see, you get to choose the date and time when your email goes out…and all you need to do is fill in the details and save your message…and then all you do is click queue:

Talking about easy stuff, right?

I highly recommend you test send the ad to your email address to see everything is allright…(just click test in aweber)

So, if you want to build your list FAST, I recommend you begin to contact possible ad swap partners. At first you may feel embarassed to contact those other marketers with your ad swap requests…but do it anyway.

Step outta your comfort zone and start contacting those other marketers. You will notice that it`s really easy to get people to ad swap with you…And you can possibly make long time friends and business partners in the process too!

Money is in the list…not the whole truth…

Most of internet marketers pressure the importance
of having your own email list…

Yeah, talking `bout the good old phrase that goes:
“Money is in the list”

But The money in the list phrase is not the whole truth…

Let me explain a little further, ok?

Once you have when a list of subscribers and when you send out
emails, People almost automatically expect you to send them sales pitches.

I bet you already know this if you belong to few mailing lists,
don`t you?

What I mean is this:
When you sign up to get free report from someone,
you will most likely later on receive emails that contain cr*ppy
info that`s disguised as helpful…

…And those emails are full of affiliate links…

Let me ask you, do you want to buy something from people like that?

I mean, most of the time I get email, I almost instantly feel
that the sender is only after my wallet…

Oh man, can you smell the desperation here?

Now, If YOU are going to send emails where your only intention
is to desperately make money, it shows!

I can`t explain why, but people sense when you desperately
want something (like money) from them.

People will begin to feel you want to force them to buy something.

It`s not hard to Guess what happens next…

They don`t want to buy from you because THEY don`t have any
reason to buy from you! It`s all about you, you and you…

That`s a surefire recipe for disaster and failure!

That`s why you should ALWAYS on ONLY focus on helping your
subscribers.

Knock down the desperate need for money when you write for them
and provide real valuable info they can use.

Show that you are not another greedy marketer who is after
their credit card. Show that you care and value them.

But how will that make you money?

Well, the thing is that when your main motivation is to
help people, they begin to trust you and see you as their friend.

And when you have their trust and you promote something,
(That you know will help your subscribers)
They know it`s valuable and worth of buying.

You see, when you have proven that you provide ONLY good info,
You have earned the right to present them product offer of some kind.

And even when you promote products,
Your main focus should be helping them out.

What I mean is you should give people info they can use
even if they don’t buy from you.

Keep that in mind when you write to your subscribers.

You should have this attitude that says:
“It doesn’t really matter if people buy or not because
the only reason I write to them is to help them.”

List building With JV Giveaways…Awesome way to build your list FAST!

In This blog post I`m going to show you one of the most powerful listbuilding technique.

It`s very simple and can be used by anyone. Even if you`re only starting out…

I`m talking about JV Giveaways…

What is JV Giveaway event?

Basically, lots of marketers team up with means of promoting the giveaway event. When people sign up to giveaway, they see a listing of free gifts they can get…And when people sign up to your gift, they sign up to your list.

This is How you build your list with JV Giveaways:

1. You join a JV Giveaway AS CONTRIBUTOR and submit your gift. (Free report, e-book, software etc.) You need to have opt-in page where people sign up for your gift.

2. You check out the promotional tools for your promo link and send a message to your list (Or use creditbased safelists etc.) to invite more people to participate in Giveaway.

The More people you refer, the higher your gift ranks meaning you will most likely get more subscribers. This is very important! Most of giveaways require you to promote and get new members to keep your listing and rank higher!

Few more words about JV Giveaways…

To build a list with Giveaways, Always join as “Contributor”, not as a “Member”

If you can afford to upgrade your account, do it!  That`s how you get higher in rankings and get more signups! Most of the time upgrades are worth of your money.

In a nutshell: It`s very simple to add between 15 to 200+ subscribers with ever JV giveaway to your list. Of course the numbers depend on the size of the giveaway and how good your gift is ranked.

How to use safelists and list-builders to get subscribers

In this blog post We`ll be talking about list-builders and free safelists in means of driving traffic to your squeeze page.

First, the system is pretty much the same as with traffic exchanges. Your goal is to grab ATTENTION and you`ll get Results.

The most important thing with list-builders and safelists is your Headline.

If your headline creates enough curiosity, people will click your ad and subscribe to your list.

Before we get started with list-builders and safelists I want to point out something.

You need to have two separate email addresses. One as your contact email and another as your list email.

Never use your personal email addresses `cause you`ll be getting TONS of emails.

I recommend you get two free GMAIL accounts for this purpose at www.Gmail.com

1. list-builders.

To be honest, Most of list builders are total waste of your time…But I`ll give you Two of list-builders that I`ve used with great success and I urge you to try them out.

1. The List Auction: www.TheListAuction.com

2. List Joe: www.ListJoe.com

Promote your squeeze page with them and see for yourself…

2. Safelists

There are those old types of safelists where you have to pay $50+ to mail your message to 45 million people and those kinds of safelists are complete garbage and you can actually get in trouble using them.

Email addresses on their databases are most likely harvested and if your message EVER gets through modern spam filters, the receiver has NOT given you the permission to mail them about your biz-ops! (it`s spamming…)

…But Credit based safelists are completely different.

The only types of safelists you should EVER use is Credit-based safelists! They work pretty much the same as traffic exhanges: You click for credits and you can use those credits to mail out your ads.

Using credit-based lists is a spam-free way of sending your ads and here`s why: They are free to join and people need to confirm their email address twice to sign-up.

People who join are aware they will be receiving emails offering all kinds of biz-opps and they can email about their biz-opps as well!

As always, you should ONLY promote your squeeze page with safelists and list-builders if you want to see results.

Driving Traffic to your sites using Traffic Exchanges

Okay, it`s time to drive traffic to your squeeze page and get some subscribers.

I`m going to give you several methods of driving lots of traffic and getting subscribers so pay attention!

The first way is to drive traffic is: Traffic Exchanges…

Now, most of people online just love to hate traffic exchanges and that`s because they have tried them and failed with them. The single most biggest reason for failing with traffic exchanges is trying to direct sell something or promoting affiliate link with them…

You have to understand how traffic exchanges work before you go using them. Otherwise you will fail!

If traffic exchanges are new to you, here`s how they work: You visit other people`s websites for a certain period of time ( usually 10-30 seconds) and you`ll earn credits for that. Those credits are used to have someone to visit your site.

So, you only have to point and click, or surf sites as we say.

That`s all there is to do! Sounds simple enough?

Well, it`s simple but you need to understand that traffic exchanges are NOT marketplaces. You can`t sell anything with traffic exchanges…just go ahead and try to make direct sales and promote your affiliate link and you will see what I mean.

People Are Not Surfing traffic Exchanges to buy anything so if you`re promoting affiliate products (or your own products)
you can be sure your results will be devastating!

If you`re lucky you can make a sale every 10000 pageviews or something like that…and make $7…

But The only way you can be successful with traffic exchanges is to build your list! That`s good news for you because we`ve been talking about list building lately…

The downside of traffic exchanges is that you need to surf minimum 1 hour / day to see good results and you need to have a special squeeze page that grabs attention FAST because you only have few seconds before your website visitor surfs away from your squeeze page.

People Who are surfing traffic exchanges are In Hurry!

You need to find a way to STOP THEM and make them read your free offer…and sign up to your list!

So, What’s going to make them stop surfing?

It`s Your HEADLINE!

But how to create attention-getting headline? Well, it`s very easy…

You go and surf traffic exchanges and look for headlines that STOP YOU and make you want to check out what`s it all about.  Then you take elements of the best headlines you see around and write up your own eye-grabbing headline.

So, headline is the most important thing about your squeeze page when using traffic exchanges, but there are also other very important things:

* Everything should be “Above the fold” (You should Scroll down as little as possible!)
* Bullet points that tell what’s inside your newsletter / report.
* E-cover for your newsletter / report. (This is important because it automatically adds value to your offer!)
* Branding yourself.(As you see, there’s my name and face on the site.)

That`s pretty much all you need for your squeeze page.

Okay, after you`ve got your squeeze page done, you obviously need to sign up to traffic exchanges and surf for credits so you`ll get traffic and sign-ups to your list.

I suggest you click here to check out affiliate funnel top 10 listing for best converting TE`s. Pick 5-7 top traffic exchanges and go with them. (They`re free to join…)

So, All you need to do is surf for credits and you should see subscribers signing up to your list soon. You should surf minimum 1 hour a day to see results. It can be boring but it`s worth of your time.

Actually I started my list-building career with traffic exchanges in the first place and it`s one of the easiest ways to get going.

How to queue your follow up messages to autoresponder

Okay, once you have written your follow up email, you need to load it up to your autoresponder.

This is how it goes with aweber: click Messages ==> Follow up

And then click add new follow up message:

And then you`ll get to add the headline and choose if you want to choose html or plain text template for your email.

This is how it looks like:

I almost always use html template (basic template).

This is because html template allows you to track open rates for your email and add nice-looking tracking links to my emails.

…and If you use plain text template, you can`t track open rates and if you want to track clicks, the link looks ugly (and long).

The thing is, if you want to add a link to affiliate product using html template, you can make it look like it`s not affiliate link at all…All you need to do is click insert / edit hyperlink button:

And then you`ll come up with the box where you fill in the details of your link:

…and You can enter something like “Check this out” to link text section to make your link look good.

For example you have a product you want to promote and you`ve got affiliate url like:  http://xxxxx.xxxxx.hop.clickbank.net/  you can enter something like “check this out” as text and you`ve just created a good-looking clickable link that doesn`t look like affiliate link.

So instead of giving out ugly looking affiliate link (that no-one wants to click) your link looks nice and like part of your email content. This is a good way to increase your click through rates.

After that you`ll need to enter how many days after your previous follow-up message you want your current message to be sent.

Also remember to check the Track links box so you can see how many clicks you get:

After that you can preview and save your message and you`re all set. Pretty easy, right?

How to design and monetize your follow-up messages

Okay, in this post I will show you how to format your follow up email so it`s easy to read and I`ll show you how to monetize the messages in a way that you`ll make money without selling.

You`ll be writing Content-based emails so you won`t hard-sell anything. Just write good content so your subscribers begin to see you as valuable source they can trust.

So, let`s get going…

Okay, formatting your email is very important because if your email is hard to read, you give unprofessional impression and your subscribers don`t bother to read what you are saying…

I mean, when you write your email messages, you should have enough “white space” in your email messages.

I`ll demonstrate this with the “lorem ipsum” dummy text…

1. Without white space:

“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. 2. With white space:

As you can see, example 1 is pretty hard to read and your eyes don`t have time to rest.

Example 2 demonstrates how much difference white space can make. White space gives the eye a chance to rest, and it`s very important when you write online document.

Physical offline documents like books and newspapers are quite easy to read even if they have text close together but online documents need to be designed in a different way.

It`s a proven fact that it`s harder for out eyes to look at computer monitor than offline document and that`s why people don`t want to read emails that are not formatted the right way; It`s simply not easy to read!

To make your email easier to read, you should have white space and text breaks in your email messages.

What you should do is write as short sentences as you can and add text breaks (white space) between paragraphs.

I usually write paragraphs that contain two or three sentences and then add text break…

When you write email messages, make sure you send a test email to your own email address to see everything looks fine and it`s easy to read.

Next you should monetize your email message but you`ll do it without selling. As you remember, people don`t like to be sold…

But if you give valuable information away and close out your email message with “additional resource” in form of affiliate link,  people will be interested in checking out that link and you`ll have a high chance of making sales.

Basically All you need to do is add a P.S. at the end of the content email and watch what happens.

So, if you write email follow up, this is how it should look like:

So, what you do is add a P.S. at the bottom of your email. But there`s a catch…

If you write about web hosting, for example, you should recommend a web hosting company you are using or ebook that tells about setting up hosting and website…and of course you should give out your affiliate link so you`ll make money in the process :)

So, Your P.S. or signature line Should go hand in hand with the content you write and you`ll see people clicking through your link

and if we use the web hosting as example, your P.S. should be something like this:

P.S. You want to know where I host my sites?
—and your link here—

Don`t hard sell anything here. Just put out your affiliate link as additional resource for your subscribers.

Oh, and you shouldn`t write too long emails (or blog posts) because your subscribers want to get info fast!  Keep your emails short but informative and you`ll be doing great!

How to Write awesome autoresponder follow-up emails part 2 / 2

Okay, now you need to use your autoresponder to build relationship with your subscribers.(and make money later on…)

So, how do you create helpful content to your subscribers…and what if you`re a complete newbie who has nothing to teach?

Actually, writing good content is very easy.

First, if you`re a complete newbie and you have been online only for few months, you have this nagging feeling that you have nothing to teach to others. Well, you`re all wrong! In those few months you have learned something, haven`t you? You know much more than someone who started today!

Just make a list of things you have learned.

  • What mistakes have you made online since you started? (that have cost you money)
  • What products you have tried that helped you out?
  • What services have you tried?
  • Where have you been searching for help?
  • Who has been helping you out?

You must have learned something…even if you started today! You have learned something by reading this blog and you can use it to provide content to your readers.

But what if you have something you can`t figure out yourself and you need help in finding answers to your questions, or questions your subscribers may be asking?

How can you help your subscribes if you don`t know anything about some specific subject?

Okay, if you need help with a specific subject…or if you need help in general, I suggest you join Warrior Forum right away…

(If you`re niche is not Internet marketing -based, do a google search for a forum that`s targeted for your niche)

Warrior Forum is full of internet marketing pros who are happy to answer your questions and help you out. All you need to do is ask for guidance for your specific issue and you will get answers.

That`s what I do myself!  If I´m not sure about something and need help, I`ll log in to WF and shoot away my question, and in most cases I get awesome answers that I can use to provide content. All I need to do is ASK. So you better click here to join warrior forum

And once you`ve got answers to your questions, you can use those answers to provide a real, useful information to your subcsribers! It`s very easy and you are also learning new stuff you in the process.

All you do is share your personal experience about things you`ve tried and there you have it; good content your subscribers can use.

There`s also another resource I use when I seek for help and it`s called Ezinearticles.com

It`s article site where you can find tons of articles to learn useful things. If you want to know about email marketing you only do a search with that term and you`ll see a list of articles you can use to learn more about it…

Actually I did a search for the term “Email Marketing” and here are the results:

All you need to do is find the juiciest tips and try out those tips. After that you can use it to write helpful content for your readers. Learn, learn and learn! That`s the key to providing good content.

So, It`s quite easy to provide good content. Basically, Once you learn something, you share your personal experience with it to your subscribers. That`s all you need to do.

Okay, now you know how to produce a content-based email and I suggest you start producing your content right away. Use your favourite word processor and write up few good articles you can use with your autoresponder…Just write with your own style and you`ll be doing great!
